Who I Am I am a lifelong Skagitonian. I love this area, and know it well. My wonderful husband Matt and I have two gorgeous sons. I have a degree in physiological psychology from Western Washington University, and spent my first "work life" in retail. After twenty years of being behind the retail counter, I was ready for a new challenge. I spent over 20 years working all aspects of retail in our family bookstore. Starting with dusting the shelves and putting away books, I worked my way up, one step at a time. By the time I entered college, I was in charge of purchasing and displaying all of our non-book lines. When we made the decision to close our store in 2007, I was the full-time manager and buyer for the entire store. I grew up in our bookstore, and I loved it and our wonderful customers. Although I will always miss the store, I'm excited about a life on the OTHER side of the counter! Real Estate, like books, has always been a part of my life. Many a dinner conversation revolved around a house my Dad was listing. Sunday drives in our family were business: we logged many miles scouting property. My Dad's been in real estate as long as I can remember, and always shared his love and enthusiasm for this industry with my brothers and I. My brothers have been trying to coax me into the business for many years, and I'm happy to be starting my new business with them.
What I Do It is my goal to make your real estate transaction enjoyable. I want you to know what's happening at each step in the process, whether buying or selling (or both!), and to always understand your options. I have over twenty years of customer service experience, and know how to apply that knowledge to new situations. I don't want you to just be satisfied with my performance - I want you to be thrilled with it, so that you can't wait to tell your friends and co-workers how great it was to work with me! My career depends on your positive experience.
